Sunday Racing 宣布日本打吡大賽冠軍「北十字星」（Croix du Nord）將會挑戰今年的一級賽凱旋門大賽（Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe），計畫先以三級賽奧蘭治太子錦標為熱身戰。
由齊藤崇史（Takashi Saito）訓練的「北十字星」預計將成為第四匹日本打吡大賽冠軍於同年挑戰凱旋門大賽，繼「高情厚意」（Kizuna，2013 年第 4 名）、「豐收節」（Makahiki，2016 年第 14 名）以及「勝局在望」（Do Deuce，2022 年第 19 名）。
Sunday Racing 於其向一口馬主團體的公告中確認由北村友一（Yuichi Kitamura）繼續於隆尚馬場策騎「北十字星」上陣，該駒出道至今每場都由他主理。
Speaking to Idol Horse during the 11-race card, Eustace said he will turn his focus to preparing Glittering Legend for the Hong Kong Derby for the owner during the 2025-26 campaign.
“I’m delighted to have the support from Bon,” Eustace said. “Glittering Legend is going into quarantine and hopefully he acclimatises well. We’ll target the four-year-old series with him.”
While Ho’s red and white silks have been a familiar fixture at racecourses in Britain, Australia and Hong Kong, the prominent owner is yet to taste success in any of the three legs of Hong Kong’s four-year-old series, which consists of the Classic Mile, Classic Cup over 1,800m and finishes with the city’s most prestigious race, the Hong Kong Derby.
